Congratulations, this is it, the ninth birthday!
I'm not being a deviant for a long time and so I can't say things like "There have been great changes since the last birthday" or "it's still the same...for 9 years!", but I can tell you my own experiences and opinion: deviantART is really the most beautiful community for art, artists and artists art . It helped me a lot to find out, what you can do with the computer, especially what kinds of art, expression and other things..dA is as well the worlds greatest place for ressources, such as stock images/brush sets and a lot of other stuff! When I started to do some digital art and searched e.g. for "PS heart brushes" I somehow was directed to devianART through the whole internet, what was one reason for me to create an account on dA. The other one was, I saw a lot of art here, and I thought: "come on, you can at least try it!" and that's exactly what I did...
I don't want to say now:"Look, I became a famous artist! I'm mega!", no, but what I can truly say is, that I really improved with art! I'm not that professional artist, but I think with more practise the results will become better! So, new artists, keep this in mindt:"noone is a mega pro when he/she starts! Take a look at the gallery of some famous people and watch their first pieces... they are of course not looking like DDs, are they?"
So that was, what I expirienced with deviantART in my time here..I hope it's what other deviants expirienced, too
My wishes to the deviantART community are simple, but I think they reflect the thoughts of the amount of deviants: Keep up the good work! Keep giving artists the chance to present their work, to become popular and even more!
